Holly has been wed three times. Her first wedding was with actor Danny Quinn. The couple was separated in 1993. She met Jim Carrey in 1994 during the auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The two actors didn't land the role but developed a connection when they shot Dumb and Dumber. The couple got married in 1996. After a short wedding, they split in 1997. The couple got married to Francis Greco who was born Canadian. When she was married Greco the following year, she obtained Canadian citizenship. They divorced in 2014. Holly and her family reside with her family in Oakville, Ontario. Holly, Grant Grant's family along with the Hobart William Smith Colleges established an A Fund to honour her brother Alexander. Holly stated that Alexander "was an individual with many dreams, aspirations and plans". When Alexander died at 14 years old, He had traveled extensively all over Europe as well as Central America. He also resided at New York City as well as Los Angeles. This gave him an interest in archaeology, architecture, and history.

Alaina Suddeth was born in Rossville, Georgia, on the 8th of November, 1994. She was married to Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina started singing when she was just three years old. The first time she performed before a crowd was in a local children singing group. Her next public appearances were at an annual Christmas destination with the option of karaoke. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer and encouraged her to begin singing. Alaina was a Pizza Hut employee prior to joining Idol. She was a cheerleader at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe high school in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
